Will Emery #6 - Quick Update

Not much new since my last post. I’m still working on the Madisonville project — things have slowed down a bit this week, which has been a nice change of pace.

In my last post, I wasn’t too thrilled about having to take a class this summer—but I’ve had a change of heart. With class only on Tuesdays and Thursdays, it might actually be a great opportunity to ease back into a routine and start building some better habits again. I’ve been meaning to get back into running (after, let’s be honest, a solid year of slacking). Running the Tiger 10K through campus last weekend reminded me how much I actually enjoy it, especially with the energy around campus and the familiar scenery. I actually kinda miss walking around campus everyday. I’m hoping to keep that momentum going once summer classes start.

Outside of work and school, I’ve got a few things on the horizon. My birthday is coming up, and I’m thinking of a long weekend trip somewhere—open to suggestions if anyone has any good spots. I’m also helping plan a graduation party for my girlfriend, which has been fun. This weekend, I’m heading home for Mother’s Day. I’m really looking forward to seeing my whole family again—it's been a while since we’ve all been together.

That’s all for now.
