Life@Carbo Vol. 11(Summer Sessions)

Salutations Peeps!

I hope all is peachy and all is right in your worlds,

A month between blog posts, damn.......shoutout to the folks still posting. I truly enjoy reading about your adventures and perspectives.

Assignment Updates:

To be completely honest I've been slacking on my assignment logging in my internship journal. Despite this I have in fact still of course been doing things.

Here are a few off the dome...

I recently visited one of our project sites in New Orleans, which is being developed to manage stormwater from a nearby flood-prone residential area. What you're looking at here is the energy dissipater located at the north weir. This feature is designed to slow the flow of collected water as it enters the site. The water travels through a series of large granite boulders, reducing its velocity before reaching several designated retention areas. This helps protect the site from erosion while enhancing overall stormwater management.

These photos are from a recent site visit to a development project in Shreveport. The project, named Folia, is a mixed-use residential and commercial development already underway. We were brought on as consultants to support and enhance the ongoing efforts, providing strategic input to help improve the overall outcome of the project.

While we were in Shreveport, we passed by the LSUS Health Services Center. Very Sleek.

Personal Bits:

Been in the Gym....ig that where I always am, bright spot of the day. Not to say the rest is dark, I just enjoy moving the body and hoops.

Been watching a lil Summer League, mainly for Bronny. He's been playing well; I love watching him develop into a better player.
