Kenzie #5 - Finding a wild Addy - Kenzie

HELLO  HELLO!

About 3 weeks ago I magically appeared in Dallas.

You know who else is in Dallas? 

...

ADDYYYY!!!
(everybody say yay right now) 

In all seriousness, Addy and I had been planning this trip for a while at this point and we were so excited.
Addy, being the fantastic friend she is - had to deal with the chaos that is DFW airport and drove laps around that tiny little airport city just to pick me up.  

We went downtown that night and visited the Nasher Sculpture Center for an event they were having with food and an outdoor concert! It was gorgeous and I loved it.  We then left and proceeded to run around that city like children having the time of our lives chasing rabbits and rolling down hills.  I'm not lying, I swear.

For the rest of our weekend, we continued to wreck havoc on Dallas - jumping on rocks in creeks and piddling around in thrift stores.  We ate so many donuts. I was stuffed. 

Addy drove me to her studio! this was so fun and I got to peer through the windows because it was closed and we were scared to go in.  Nonetheless, I can attest her firm is indeed beautiful.

Um important information ... Addy rode a BULL! and she was so good at it that every cowboy in a 500 mile radius of us got a letter in the mail that read:

Anywho, we decided to let every other cowboy stabilize their egos after the terrible hits they sustained and I left Dallas. 

*Side note : before I left we made STEAK - this is important because it's the first time I've ever cooked steak and I felt very adult about it. It was delicious*

GREETINGS ONCE AGAIN! I am attempting to get better at this blogging thing, I think my delivery of the last one was a bit bland and robotic. Fortunately, they say in life growth is inevitable and the same applies to my internship experience. I feel the level of trust is being raised with us interns. From the increased workload to the level of work being that is tasked to us. I don't know if it's just me but having my judgement and skill trusted to the level of having a deliverable that I had a large role in being presented to others is a slightly nervous but very rewarding feeling. It also acts as a motivator to keep learning and increase the quality of my efforts.  Assignment updates! Mikala and I did tree warranty work at Greenwood Park in Baker.
