Lane Regional Medical Center in Zachary didn’t end up getting finished last week as planned, but it was due to weather conditions so we’re still happy with the progress. About 80-90% of the beds have been planted & mulched, & were wrapping up this week. 

We are having a lunch meeting with a new client of ours who we are excited about as he is a large scale developer in the area, & he wants us for the construction & maintenance of his new properties in the future.

I have also been told that GroundWorks would like to hire me after the internship officially ends as they have enjoyed having me help on the design & project management side of things.  

Super glad that school is about three months away because it’s so painfully not even close to real LA life.

Blog #4 - Jalen Winburn Hello everyone, As of lately, the work has picked up a bit as a few of our projects are coming close to closing, which means getting final deliverables and documents finished before the upcoming deadlines. Sat in on a wayfinding greenway project meeting , discussing strategies for guiding movement through Harris County’s landscapes. Wrapped up the day with a one-on-one session with the studio lead , getting valuable insights into workflow and expectations. Tuesday: Attended the staff meeting to get updates on various projects. Had a project meeting focused on developing sections for a new Harris County greenway . Tasked with rendering and bringing these visions to life.
