Blog 5 - Cameron Restivo

We've taken a step back from residential projects and have returned to focusing on the larger commercial projects that have been stacking up. We have completed one of our hospital projects recently, ABRC, commonly called Recenter on Old Jefferson behind Women's Hospital. Now, we are focusing on Lane Regional Medical Center in Zachary as that deadline is coming up in June. 

We have just received two more large scale projects that we have started to push to the front of the line in that they are new customers, and we would like to acquire the Maintenace for these sites after we finish building them. 

Still, in the background, we've still been slowly developing the site plan for a new OLOL remodel that includes a chapel courtyard space, new front entry and two atriums in the main lobby. We finally received the architects final design for entry & exit locations, so we have been pushing the conceptual design forwards and should be moving into a schematic design next week. 

As usual, internship has treated me much better than school.

Blog #4 - Jalen Winburn Hello everyone, As of lately, the work has picked up a bit as a few of our projects are coming close to closing, which means getting final deliverables and documents finished before the upcoming deadlines. Last week I was working a bit more on the mixed-use development project, doing more SketchUp and Enscape work. The model is almost entirely finished, which has been really sweet to work on from start to finish and see come to life. Sat in on a wayfinding greenway project meeting , discussing strategies for guiding movement through Harris County’s landscapes. Wrapped up the day with a one-on-one session with the studio lead , getting valuable insights into workflow and expectations. Tuesday: Attended the staff meeting to get updates on various projects.
