Addison's Blog 4: Seasonal Color and Weekend Getaways!

 Hey guys!!

Sorry for being MIA the last few weeks but I’ve been doing something pretty awesome lately getting drone shots of each client’s seasonal color displays. It’s so cool to see the whole design from above! I put together a booklet with these shots so the installers can see exactly where to place everything and how many trays or flats they’ll need. It makes the whole process way smoother and helps everyone stay on track.

The coolest part, though is getting to meet some of the clients and getting to personalize everything to what they
want! (And I guess getting to fly the drone to). I think I am getting pretty good at it. Fastest time… 2 minutes…

OHH and I took a weekend getaway! Nothing crazy just a quick trip to Hot Springs!

Some things I did???

Got to see Hot Springs National Park, shopped on Bath House Rowe, hiked some trails at Lake Catherine, and my favorite thing that I did was going to Garvan Gardens!!!! The Architect and Landscape Architect students at Arkansas university designed the coolest gardens! And they had a petting zoo… BABY… GOATS….!!!!

This girly's name is Hellen Keller

Other than that its been pretty chill and low key but the workload is gonna pick up again soon because we’re starting another big project!!

GREETINGS ONCE AGAIN! I am attempting to get better at this blogging thing, I think my delivery of the last one was a bit bland and robotic. Fortunately, they say in life growth is inevitable and the same applies to my internship experience. I feel the level of trust is being raised with us interns. From the increased workload to the level of work being that is tasked to us. I don't know if it's just me but having my judgement and skill trusted to the level of having a deliverable that I had a large role in being presented to others is a slightly nervous but very rewarding feeling. It also acts as a motivator to keep learning and increase the quality of my efforts.  Assignment updates! Mikala and I did tree warranty work at Greenwood Park in Baker.
