Week 7 (3/3-3/10)


Mon: Engaged in a strategic Northside meeting, aligning plans for upcoming projects.
Tues: Participated in March birthday celebrations, strengthening team bonds.
Wed: Attended a Lunch & Learn session with Daltile, enhancing material knowledge. Followed by an internal meeting on the masterplan community project, delving into decision-making processes and research methodologies. Concluded with a Makers Space meeting, collaborating with young LA designers to innovate office and outdoor designs.
Thurs: Focused on creating detailed renderings for Friday's masterplan community project presentation.
Fri: Half-day at the office; the pace slowed, providing a moment to regroup.


Weekend
Took time to reset and recharge
- Enjoyed LSU's dominant 18-4 victory over Xavier, highlighting their offensive prowess.
- Prepared meals for the week ahead, ensuring sustained energy.
- Maintained fitness regimen with a gym session.

Week 8(3/10-3/14)

Mon: Attended the weekly meeting, receiving assignments to support various projects.
Tues: Completed assigned tasks and addressed necessary revisions.
Wed: Enhanced CAD designs for the masterplan community project, adding intricate details to the walkway system. Developed planting exhibits for another community, evaluating two spacing configurations.
Thurs: Integrated a roundabout design into CAD, working on associated diagrams for IFB and IFC packages.
Fri: Calculated plant quantities for a recreation center, considering spatial requirements.

LSU Baseball Updates

The LSU Tigers, under the leadership of Head Coach Jay Johnson, have surged to a remarkable 17-1 record, currently holding the top spot in national rankings. 

 This impressive performance includes a twelve-game winning streak, with notable victories over teams like Dallas Baptist, Kansas State, and Nebraska.

Jared Jones (First Base): Leading the team with a .429 batting average, Jones has hit 6 home runs and accumulated 26 RBIs, showcasing his offensive dominance.

In my first week at Confluence in Minneapolis, it was all about learning the systems and how things work here: file structure, licensing, AutoCAD standards, company structure, and how project timelines and budgets work. GREETINGS ONCE AGAIN! I am attempting to get better at this blogging thing, I think my delivery of the last one was a bit bland and robotic. Fortunately, they say in life growth is inevitable and the same applies to my internship experience. I feel the level of trust is being raised with us interns. From the increased workload to the level of work being that is tasked to us. I don't know if it's just me but having my judgement and skill trusted to the level of having a deliverable that I had a large role in being presented to others is a slightly nervous but very rewarding feeling. It also acts as a motivator to keep learning and increase the quality of my efforts.  Assignment updates! Mikala and I did tree warranty work at Greenwood Park in Baker. Our task of was to walkthrough a portion of the park and tag the dead trees and ground shrubs so they could be replaced under their one-year warranty.                         ...
