this week is better :)

This we are bringing all the good vibes :) 

Last week I was on the struggle bus from 9am Wednesday until 1:15pm Friday. I had a nice weekend full of bartending and sparing. Then on Sunday I had a much needed family day. My brothers birthday is March 18th so we celebrated with my family with a nice crawfish boil on the bayou. A lot of people think Morgan City is "country" but  its straight bayou lol these are pics from my mom and grandparents back yard!

Monday was also a great start to the work week. As I said before we have our super long meetings with all the projects on Mondays so all the morning gets eaten up really. After lunch I had about 2 hours to kinda mess around making a diagram to show where area drains should be in the parking lot for the Lafitte Greenway. Then I headed out to meet Chad at the Lakeside Mall 17th street corridor for a site visit. We where checking all the planting installation and making sure everything what were it was supposed to be and the right size.

 there was 446..
 we had to recount literally 5 times. we still never got the same number 


This was fun, Chad used to own a landscape construction company so he's good at clocking the contractors mishaps.. there were a lot. He's also good at explaining things in easy ways that make sense to my peewee brain. 

Tuesday aka today. I worked on getting all out findings documented so we can send to contractor and they fix everything.. Not sure if im supposed to share that on the internet or not so ill just show pics of the problems we found.

they damaged all our trees bruh :(

anyways this has been a good week so far, hope everyone can say the same! peace and blessings <3

GREETINGS ONCE AGAIN! I am attempting to get better at this blogging thing, I think my delivery of the last one was a bit bland and robotic. Fortunately, they say in life growth is inevitable and the same applies to my internship experience. I feel the level of trust is being raised with us interns. From the increased workload to the level of work being that is tasked to us. I don't know if it's just me but having my judgement and skill trusted to the level of having a deliverable that I had a large role in being presented to others is a slightly nervous but very rewarding feeling. It also acts as a motivator to keep learning and increase the quality of my efforts.  Assignment updates! Mikala and I did tree warranty work at Greenwood Park in Baker.
