 BLOG #2 (February 10th -21st) Mikala Noonan

Hello again!

Weeks six and seven flew by. I was on taking our information from the warranty assessment of the Baton Rouge Zoo, and translating it into diagrams. I also did assisted in the planting plan and soil prep plan for a portion of the Perkins Rd underpass project, as well as updating the rendering to match the adjustments.

Over the weekend, I met some lovely people from the Louisiana Wild Society, who were hosting a native plant giveaway at an antique store in Baton Rouge. I got some tulip poplar, persimmons, and some dwarf palmettos to plant in my parent's backyard. I'll keep y'all updated on their growth.

(long leaf pine margarita???)

Back at work we wrapped up the Greenwood documents, as well as an Request for Qualifications for a potential project in Fat City. We had a lunch and learn with SESCO, who provided us with jambalaya and a lot of interesting information on lighting. They have pattens galore and are chromate free! I love a good lunch and learn.

  2. It's either a cross between a mallard duck and a pekin duck or a leucistic mallard hen so either way it's a SICK duck!
