Blog 6 for fun Sophie Webber

WORK: The past 2 weeks have been lots of fun at work! Last week, I got to go out to Lockhart Elementary School and measure every. last. tree. on the entire campus. It took hours, but it felt so good to be outside, so I just romanticized life and enjoyed myself. This week, I got to go to a Community Meeting at Crowder Park. The rendering of the trail system I put on my last blog was blown up onto a poster board along with a bunch of others for people of the community to come by and see what we have going on. A few grumpy neighbors complaining about the park expansion, but mostly excited bikers and hikers. I was out there for 4 hours, and the pollen goes hard so I seriously sneezed on the entire community. This week, I am working on a secret project making CAD bases from GIS of various locations, so we have options on where to put our big juicy secret.

FUN: Last weekend, I hung out with my brother, Lydia, and Coco again, but this time in Wilmington, NC. It's on the coast and I think I want to live there and be a surfer girl forever. Goodbye everyone. This weekend I'm hitching up to Richmond, Virginia. I have never been to Virginia, so I am excited to explore! LFG.

SEREDIPITY?

Before I left for Wilmington, I randomly met this woman named Martha. She was a funny little ole hippie. We got to talkin and she asked me what I was doing in Raleigh. I told her about my internship in Landscape Architecture and she nearly shit a brick. She told me she had been looking for the right person to let look through her deceased husband (of 1 year)'s book collection. I was honored and excited and followed her home. She said he was a lover of learning, hobbies, and life in general. We wouldve been friends. I got awesome old music books (Beatles, Dylan, Young, Etc.) women books (just boob pics), Landscape Architecture books, a Tarot card educational book cause im tryna learn, and some books on space for my brother because he has completely lost his mind to the aliens. It was such a serendipitous moment in my life and I smiled all the way home thanking life for setting up weird little coincidences like this one. ITS THE LITTLE THINGS STRAIGHT UP.

She must have really trusted me she let me roam over the whole joint.

She truly is the light of my life.

She took that. Thanks Coco new fav solo.

Lets go to the beach-each!

Community meeting at Crowder Park! This was wholesome. 150 people showed up. They care so much about their community.
